Derby City Flavor 2

About Derby City:
Our top-quality vaping fluids are inspired by the rich history of our home town of Louisville, Kentucky, and by our own travels around the world. Our charter flavors offer tribute to Louisville’s best-loved traditions and most distinctive flavors. From the rich, nutty sweetness of our founder, Archie’s, Derby Reserve (crafted in homage to the ever-popular chocolate and pecan pastry), to the refreshing mint of The Mayor’s Mint Julep, you will find the finest flavors Louisville has to offer, along with a few savory delights from faraway lands.

Derby City Flavor sent my mother two of the Ports of Call Series; Mandvi Chai Tea and Raspberry Linzer Macaroon. We got them in 12 mg, which is a lot lower than what she normally would vape. That is the highest MG that the company goes to, though.

Mandvi Chai Tea: From the ancient port of Mandvi on the Arabian Sea, Derby City Flavor brings the sultry flavors of India. Our mystifying blend of spices evokes the meeting of the maritime spice trade and the camel caravans bearing spices more precious than gold. Experience an exotic treasure, heady with cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon.

Review: It has a nice flavor and likes it. You can slightly smell the cinnamon. It is rather smooth to vape. However, the minute you open the bottle, the liquid starts getting dark. You would almost have to use it within two days or else it almost gets a black color.

Raspberry Linzer Macaroon: Like the now-famous Linzer torte, our Austrian-inspired elixir marries the sweet fruity notes of raspberries with the soft warmth of almond for a delicate and sophisticated treat. Rumor has it Mozart himself favored such treats!

Review: Between the two flavors, my mother really enjoyed this one. She loved the raspberry taste of the e-liquid. It was not too tart or sweet due to the sweet almond rounding it out and combating some of the stronger flavors. The Raspberry Linzer Macaroon is definitely an e-liquid we would look into purchasing again.

Overall, my mother did enjoy both e-liquids very much. However, she did wish they came in higher strengths, as it is a bit too low for her. The flavors were good mixes and ones that she would probably get again. However, she was not thrilled with the Mandvi Chai Tea turning darker than it already was, as it will stain the tanks. We would definitely recommend Derby City Flavors, as the company and their products are unique.
