Portable power banks are my best friends. At this point, I have more than a handful of them. Although, I have a few that are my favorites – I decided to try the Elivebuy Dual USB Power Bank. The Elivebuy Dual USB Power Bank has a 13000 mAh capacity charge. It has smart charging port technology and can identify your device and determine how much speed it needs to charge it. The LED displays just how much juice you have left in your power bank. You will receive a micro USB charging data cable along with the Elivebuy Dual USB Power Bank.
The other night we had a bad storm – torrential rains, high winds, lots of thunder and very close lightening. Due to this, I grabbed the Elivebuy Dual USB Power Bank and plugged my phone into it. At the time, my phone was almost dead. So, by using the Elivebuy power bank, I was able to protect my phone and charge it. Plus, it has a little led flashlight on it, which I could use in case the power went out. Luckily, I did not need to use that feature. I woke up to a completely charged phone and plenty of juice left on the Elivebuy Dual USB Power Bank charger. I went on to charge my iPod and one other phone, which were both almost dead. The Elivebuy power bank charger has charged all my devices without any issues. Though this is a dual USB charger, I completely forget that it is, so, I have yet to charge two devices at once. However, I am sure it would work fine.
For me, the downside seems to be that you HAVE to use the cord that comes with the Elivebuy power bank to charge it and your devices. I have used other USB cords, but it seems to take longer and I have to wiggle the cord to keep it charging. This really is not an issue with the device; it just makes sure you use their specific cord. And the cord is long, so that can be a pain at times.
The power bank is heavier than most, but it has a higher mAh, so that does not surprise me. It is still quite easy to take with you and use on the go. It has a nice textured design on the power bank.
Overall, I have been quite happy with the Elivebuy Dual USB Power Bank. It is a product that I will continue to use and would definitely recommend.
