Jeans are so hard to shop for, whether you are shopping for yourself or someone else. A pair of Flypaper jeans were offered up – they are for men, so I decided to get them for my uncle. We chose the Men’s Boot Cut Jeans in Light Blue because they look similar to the styles and the color of jeans that he already wears. They took a while to arrive at my house, though they were sent directly from the company – I did not order them myself. I hope the shipping is faster if you order from the site.

Info on jeans:
-Made from soft and comfortable 100% cotton
-Machine Wash
-Front & Back pockets
-Zip fly with button

There is a variety of sizes to choose from and we selected one as close to his size as possible, however they were still long. The jeans feel nice and seem to be of higher quality. Our one BIG issue is the color of these jeans. Though the jeans that arrived even stated they were “Light Blue”, there is no way that was even possible. The jeans that showed up at my house were almost acid wash. They are awful looking. The back of the jeans have a completely different look than the ones that we selected, as well. It is a big disappointment. The jeans fit my uncle OK and they look semi-decent, but he does not think he will really wear them, other than to work on things around his house and outdoors. My plan for these jeans was for him to be able to have a nice, high quality, non-work pair of pants that he can wear out to different places. Unfortunately, that is not going to be possible with these jeans and I am very disappointed.

I did contact the company directly – right on the FlyPaper site and they failed to respond to me. And for that reason, I would NOT recommend these.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing your experience with this company! It definitely sounds like an awful one, and for this I will definitely never consider buying from them. I prefer to buy my jeans in the store anyway. I have never had luck ordering them online because you can’t try them on first!

    • I’ve never had luck ordering jeans online either, unless I 100% know it’s the same pair of jeans that I already have and just want a second pair or different wash color. This company has some awesome mens jeans, but it’s just disappointing that they refuse to address the issue. The jeans are great quality and still look nice, but nothing like what they look like on the site (supposedly the only jeans that they have available).

  2. Hi, Lauryn and Ashley, we are so sorry to hear that our Flypaper Jeans let you down. Thank you for pointing out that our jeans have some color differences. It may be due to your computer screen resolution that may show different color from the true color. And we sincrely apologize if we have some color issues during manufacturing or we deliver a wrong jean. We are dedicating to address this problem. Flypaper has been manufacturing men’s jeans for more than 20 years, and our jeans were sold to Macy’s, Kohl’s and many other big stores. We go through strict fit, testing, and inspection process during manufacturing to insure every customer can get a premium quality jean. You are always welcome to buy our jeans from our website or amazon.
