InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer

For the past sixteen or so years, I have been using the same hair dryer. It was a travel hair dryer that was quite expensive, but worked amazingly. Up until this year, I had never had any problems with it. The hair dryer was extremely powerful and dried my hair in record time. Then it started overheating and luckily, I was offered the InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer at the perfect time.

I have medium length hair that is slightly wavy and frizzy. Either I have to put my hair up in a ponytail or blow dry it and straighten it. Knowing I had to go run errands, I decided to test out the InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer. I have to admit – I was pleasantly shocked at how well the hair dryer worked. As soon as I saw that this one was going to work out for me, I threw the other one away and may have had a moment of silence for it. I did not dwell long, as I’d just found the new love of my life – seriously, it is that amazing! This hair dryer is pretty darn neat. One of the things that I really like about it is that I can adjust the temperature, speed, and the level of ions that I wanted. I am not experienced in different hair dryers that are available, so I am not sure if that is a feature that they all have or not – I was use to low or high speed and the cool shot button. Due to the way my hair is, I cranked the InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer up to high speed and almost the highest temperature and I started with low ions, and then moved to high ions. This hair dryer actually reduced the frizz in my hair – it was awesome! I could not believe it. It did also dry my hair very quickly; too, I am not sure how long it took, as I kept stopping to play with different features on it. The hair dryer is quite light in my hands, which surprised me, as it does look on the heavier side. It has a solid, sturdy body without the heaviness.

The InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer is absolutely gorgeous. I love the white, sleek body and the blue accent. When it is on, it does glow blue, which is very neat. I did not play with the diffuser or concentrator attachments that come with it, as I do not necessarily need to use them. At some point, I will try them. And I am sure they will be great, too!

This is a hair dryer that I would 100% purchase again if something were to ever happen to the one that I have no. If anyone ever asks me for recommendations for hair dryers, the InStyler BLU Turbo Ionic Dryer will be the first thing that comes out of my mouth. This hair dryer is a must-have that is highly recommended!

Thanks for this review. My dryer just broke and I had it for years, so now I need to know which new product to buy. Your review is very helpful

This sounds awesome. My hair is short but extremely thick and takes forever to dry. I also have a hairdryer that’s been my friend for way longer than it should have been and I am waiting for it to quit. I also am used to cool burst, low or high. Not sure I would know what to do with an ion!
