Pentel Pens and Mechanical Pencil
Pentel Vicuna Retractable Ballpoint Pens:
While the colors of these pens are very bright and fun, I am not entirely a fan of them. The Pentel pens write smoothly, but they are a fine tip, which for someone who writes hard, it is not comfortable. On top of that, the pens are a hard material. At first when I saw them, I thought they were going to be more of a squishy material or gel like – but they are honestly a hard plastic. So, despite the fact that they write nicely, I really do not like the fine tip and the hardness of the Pentel pens. I will be passing off the Pentel Vicuna Retractable Ballpoint Pens to my friend who just landed her first teaching job.
Pentel Twist-Erase III Mechanical Pencil:
If I was still in school, I would be so excited for this mechanical pencil. I am not a fan of regular pencils, so mechanical pencils are wonderful. The Pentel Twist-Erase III mechanical pencil fits comfortable in my hand and my fingers/hand do not get tired while using it. The grip on the mechanical pencil helps with that. The lead seems to be a bit stronger than most. I can write easily with the Pentel mechanical pencil. The eraser works fairly well, too. I do like that an extra one comes with it. For me, that was always the first thing that was gone and then I would not use the mechanical pencil. I like the design of the Pentel mechanical pencil. It is a pencil that I would definitely recommend.
Pentel EnerGel Alloy RT Retractable Gel Pen:
Out of the Pentel pens that I received, this EnerGel Alloy RT Gel Pen is amazing! Though I am not huge on gel ink pens, I do like this one. I really like the aquamarine colored barrel. The pen is classy looking I do like the way that it writes, but you cannot write small and you need to be careful what you write on, as it could bleed through. Despite that, I enjoy using the Pentel EnerGel Alloy Retractable Gel Pen for making grocery lists and keeping track of what I need to do. I would recommend the Pentel Gel Pen.
