Pilot Acroball Pens & Pilot Dr.Grip Frosted Pen

Pilot Acroball

I am sure by now you have figured out that I am a stationery junky. I cannot help it, I just love the stuff! Anytime I can get my hands on new pens, I do so. Though they are not just for me – there is another person in my house that uses pens at her job every single day. Therefore, even though I am the stationery, well mostly pen junky, she will get first dibs and then the rest end up with me.

I have worked with Shoplet many times in the past and the companies that they work with always seem to have the best pens. This time around, Shoplet handed out Pilot pens, which are one my favorites.

Dr. Grip Frosted Pen:
Oh my god… I love this pen so much! The Dr.Grip Frosted Pen works magnificently. The ink flows smoothly, allowing the pen to glide across the paper without issue. When using the Dr. Grip Frosted Pen, your hand will not become tired, as it is kind of one of those ergonomic pens. It feels sturdy and solid, as well as comfortable, due to the grip. The only thing that I would say is that because the grip is slightly rubbery, it will pick up any lint and pet hair. It is rather easy to remove, but still a pain to deal with at times. I have been using the pen regularly and I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite pens to date!

Acroball PureWhite Advanced:
I love the sleekness of the Acroball PureWhite Advanced pen, as well as how well it writes. It is a solid pen, but allows you to comfortably write with it and use it all day long. It is a fine point, which I am not necessarily a fan of, since I write hard and sometimes poke the pen through the pen. I have not had it happen yet with these, which is a good thing. I like the different accent colors on the pen, as it really makes it stand out. The ink is very smooth and does not skip on the paper.

Acroball Pro Advanced:
While I like how smooth the Acroball Pro Advanced pens write, I do not like that they have metal accent pieces on them. I am not a fan of metal on things that I use frequently, as they will get a weird metal scent, which I cannot stand. These probably will not get used very often, even though they are a nice pen. My mother did happen to like these ones and took one to work with her – she does not seem to have any issues with it.

Acroball Colors Advanced:
The Acroball Colors Advanced is great – they write very smoothly and appear to last a long time. They are called “colors” and described to have vivid ink color, which I do not really get. They just look like other typical black, blue, and red pens. Maybe other pens in this line are different colored and have vivid colored ink. The ones that I received are just your typical pens; they write nicely and feel comfortable in the hand.
